Capital Women's Care is an amazing group- I'm so grateful I found them! I went to the Rockville office throughout my pregnancy, almost exclusively seeing Dr. Alam (though my encounters with other doctors and staff were all positive too). Dr. Alam is a model doctor: both very competent and kind. She always listened patiently to my questions and provided thorough expert answers. I unexpectedly had Dr. Apgar for my c-section and she was great too. How can one office have so many excellent practitioners and staff?? Very positive atmosphere. Wait time was almost always short and everyone was friendly and helpful too.

Dr Wolfgram is a caring and extremely considerate doctor. He is very knowledgeable and personable.

I have been coming to this practice for 30 years. Everyone is so wonderful. The front desk is always so nice. Kathy (the nurse) is always so warm and friendly. She treats me like we are so close, and we could be great friends. Can’t even say enough about Dr. Alter. He is the best doctor by far. He’s thorough, he takes all the time you need and more. But best of all he’s the kindest most caring person. You feel so special when you are with him. I always truly look forward to seeing him. He feels like family to me. I wish there were even better words to describe him. Don’t look any further. You will be so thrilled to get the best care at this practice.

I don’t even know where to start except that DR. WOLFGRAM IS THE ONE! He is exceptional, a very rare gem in his field of OBGYN! I met him by chance as he was the one available in their practice to do my D&C at Shady Grove. I was very surprised because two days after my surgery, he called to check in on me. I cannot tell you how heartwarming that was specially after losing a baby. By then, I knew he’d be my OB if I ever get pregnant again, which I did after only a couple of months. Dr. Wolfgram knew what I went through so he was very thorough at every single visit! Ran every single test, and attended to me every time I just had a scare or panic attack and gave me assurances. I never felt rushed, never felt that my concerns were too small, and he always gave me a pep-talk which always left me feeling relieved and consoled after a visit. My pregnancy was physically very hard but Dr. Wolfgram made it a whole lot easier mentally and emotionally, knowing that my baby is in the safest hands! And yes, he delivered my baby too! Get him and hit the jackpot!

Dr. Wolfgram is a kind and attentive doctor who really tried to help his patients in any way he can. I've been his patient for about 30 years.
